30+ Science Fair Projects You Can Do at Home

Looking back on childhood, why did we all hate going to school so much? It was an opportunity to get together with friends to read and learn and play and sleep. While we can't bring back nap time, we can absolutely get back into some of the fun of grade school—whether or not you've got little ones at home.

If you do have children at home, each of these crazy cool demonstrations would make a bang-up science fair project; just add a great question and hypothesis, then apply a bit of scientific method.

If you don't have kids around to use as an excuse to mix Diet Coke and Mentos, you should know this: You don't need one! You can get up right now, walk around your grown-up kitchen and find the all materials you need to test one of these at-home science experiments. Maybe you'll learn something.
